More about Branches

Each of our nine branches holds monthly meetings, normally between September and May. These often feature interesting and informative guest speakers and anyone is welcome to attend. They are a good opportunity to hear about what is going a branch. Monthly meetings can be online, in-person or both.

Other activities within the branches vary and include workshops, outings and special projects.

Joining a branch gives you access to a wealth of local knowledge and the opportunity to interact with other like minded family historians. Branches keep in touch with their own members to let them know about upcoming events, projects and anything else of interest.

As a Branch Member, you have voting rights at General Meetings of the Branch and you may volunteer to serve on the Branch Committee.

Most branches have a Facebook group or page, where members and non members of the Society can ask questions, learn about upcoming talks and share information.

Click on a Branch page for more information about that particular branch and its activities.
