Killyleagh Branch welcomes members from around the world as well as those who live locally.

Killyleagh Branch usually meets on the first Monday of the month at 7:30 p.m. from October to May.
Meetings are normally in person, with some of them provided on Zoom as well.
These meetings are an opportunity for Members to hear about what is going in the Branch and in the wider Society.
Many of the meetings feature an interesting presentation given by a guest speaker.
Members of the Branch will be notified by email. Non-members are welcome too – email us to register.

“The McIlrath Letters” is made up of 64 letters that the McIlrath brothers sent to their family home near Balloo, Killinchy, from Australia and New Zealand over 55 years.

The three authors, all members of the Killyleagh Branch discovered lots of undocumented history of their local area they wanted to share. The result is this fact packed book, which has been nominated for the Irish Publisher’s awards. The images, photographs and maps throughout add to the impact of this impressive publication.
The initial publication sold out quickly; watch this space for news of future reprints.
