Prices
Prices shown for each product do not include shipping. The shipping cost will be calculated at checkout, shown separately and added to the total cost.
Shipping
Products purchased from the Shop are dispatched using the following services:
- To UK destinations – Royal Mail 2nd Class
- To other destinations – Royal Mail International Standard
There is a package weight limit of 2kg for International Standard. If the combined weight of multiple items in an order exceeds the 2kg limit the Shopping Cart shipping calculator will show “There are no shipping methods available”. Please contact the Shop Manager to request a manual shipping cost calculation for the order.
Payment
Payment can be made online using a credit or debit card.
In exceptional circumstances, products may be ordered by email, or by post, and prepaid for in UK Sterling by a Cheque or Bankers Draft drawn on a UK Bank. Contact the Shop Manager before ordering to confirm the details for your particular requirements.
Cancellation Policy
In accordance with the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
Cancellation Period:
- You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days from the day you received the goods without giving any reason. The cancellation period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the goods.
How to Cancel:
- To exercise the right to cancel, you must inform us of your decision to cancel this contract by a clear statement via a General Enquiry to the Shop Manager on our Contact Page or by post to: North of Ireland Family History Society, Unit C4, Valley Business Centre, 67 Church Road, Newtownabbey, County Antrim BT36 7LS
Refund Process:
- If you cancel this contract, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us).
- We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you.
Refund Timeline:
We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than:
- 14 days after the day we receive back from you any goods supplied, or
- (if earlier) 14 days after the day you provide evidence that you have returned the goods, or
- if there were no goods supplied, 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to cancel this contract.
Returning Goods:
- You shall send back the goods or hand them over to us without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your cancellation from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired.
- You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods.
Condition of Returned Goods:
- We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.
